Who We Are
We're dreamers. We're believers. We're movers.
Elsewhere MVMT is a multimodality movement company rooted in Los Angeles, bringing together Pilates, yoga, strength, and functional movement to help people move well and live more fully.
We believe movement is not about optimizing or perfecting your body. It is about learning to feel, understand, and trust it.
Our approach is grounded in breath, strength, mobility, awareness, and self trust, with functional movement at the center. We build practices that support your health span, help you stay strong and capable, and create a more present relationship with your body and your life.
We create space to move, learn, and connect through classes, teacher trainings, pop ups, workshops, retreats, and digital experiences.
Less optimizing. More feeling.
Less perfection. More self trust.
Movement for the long game.

Your Co-founders
Chandler Farren is a movement educator with over a decade of experience across Pilates, yoga, strength, and breathwork in Los Angeles and New York City. With a background in professional dance and a deep curiosity for how people move, Chandler brings fluency, nuance, and creativity to their approach.
Their teaching is rooted in anatomy, alignment, breath, and functional movement, while leaving room for individuality and exploration. Chandler believes there is rarely one right way to move, and that a deeper understanding of the body creates more freedom, not more rules.
Through teaching, curriculum development, and teacher education, Chandler brings together technical precision and embodied understanding to help people become more capable, confident, and connected movers.

Co-founder/Mvmt Facilitator
While Élan’s (pronounced A-lawn) roots lie deep within artistry, his appreciation for athletics stems from his fusion of fitness and art. Growing up he found purpose in everything from illustration and music to martial arts and cross country. Unknowingly, each pursuit has always enhanced his practice of another.
After graduating with a BA in Architecture from Berkeley he began a short lived career in the industry. Soon after, the need for wellness lifestyle changes became apparent. "From building buildings to building bodies," a client once said. Longevity became a major pillar long before the buzz word gained significant influence online. Turns out, longevity had always been an intuitive part of him.
Today, he's an artist excelling as a fitness professional with multiple years experience. He describes his style of coaching as firm yet positive and entertaining, using athletic conditioning principles to develop well-rounded human beings.
